The World Society of Sports & Exercise Medicine is excited to bring the 6th 1M- World Congress of Sports & Exercise Medicine (WCSEM) to Dublin this year. The notation 1M means this event is endorsed by the Malaysian Government, where the society was born.
This conference is led by Professor Dato’ Seri Dr Mohd Mydin, President of WSSEM, in association with the International Society of Sport Traumatology of the Hand (ISSPORTH) and the Irish Osteoporosis Society.
ISSPORTH is led by Dr Loris Pegoli who regularly treats elite athletes as part of his role as Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery in Humanitas San Pio X Hospital Milan. The President of the Irish Osteoporosis Society, Professor Moira Obrien has been involved in Sports Medicine for over 30 years and is a founding Fellow of RCPI/RCSI Faculty of Sports & Exercise Medicine Ireland.
Professionals from all over the world will be in attendance to speak and host workshops making this Congress a perfect platform to exchange ideas, discover opportunities, reacquaint with colleagues, meet new friends and broaden your knowledge base.

In Ireland, WCSEM is recognised by the Irish College of General Practitioners (ICGP) and has been awarded 12.5 CPD credits and 1.5 GMS Study Leave. In the UK it has been awarded 12 CPD credits by the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine UK (FSEM).
